Residency Consultant / Senior Living Sales Counselor Pre-Leasing Focus | Luxury Senior Living Galerie Living | Chevy Chase, Maryland At Galerie Management, we believe senior living should feel more like a luxury hospitality experience than traditional senior housing. We are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Senior Residency Counselor to lead pre-leasing sales efforts for our newest luxury senior living community in Chevy Chase, Maryland. This is a unique opportunity to help bring a new community to life from the ground up while building deep relationships throughout the local market before opening day. The ideal candidate is polished, highly motivated, hospitality-minded, and thrives in a fast-paced pre-opening environment. This role requires a strategic sales professional who can generate excitement, drive deposits, build referral partnerships, and create a best-in-class experience for prospective residents and families throughout the entire sales journey. Position Summary The Senior Residency Counselor is responsible for driving occupancy through proactive lead generation, relationship cultivation, and consultative sales efforts, with a significant emphasis on pre-leasing and community launch strategy. This role serves as one of the first impressions of the community and plays a critical role in establishing the community's reputation and market presence prior to opening. This position will work closely with operational leadership, marketing, and executive teams to execute pre-opening sales strategies, host events, build referral pipelines, and achieve aggressive occupancy goals. Key Responsibilities Pre-Leasing & Sales Strategy Lead all pre-leasing sales efforts for the community prior to opening Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline through CRM systems and consistent follow-up Conduct outreach to prospective residents, adult children, referral sources, and professional partners Drive deposits and occupancy through strategic relationship-building and consultative selling Maintain detailed knowledge of floor plans, pricing, services, amenities, and care offerings Meet and exceed established occupancy, deposit, and sales goals Participate in market analysis and competitor evaluations Relationship Development Build strong referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, wealth advisors, realtors, senior resource professionals, and local organizations Represent the community at networking events, community outreach opportunities, and industry functions Establish trust and meaningful connections with prospective residents and families throughout the decision-making process Deliver a high-touch, luxury hospitality experience during every interaction Community Launch & Event Execution Assist with planning and execution of pre-opening marketing events, VIP experiences, hard hat tours, and launch initiatives Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams on outreach campaigns and brand awareness efforts Help create excitement and momentum leading up to opening day Support development of waitlists, priority member programs, and reservation strategies Customer Experience Conduct professional presentations, tours, and discovery meetings Identify resident needs and recommend appropriate living options and services Maintain consistent communication with prospects throughout the sales cycle Ensure a seamless transition from deposit through move-in Administrative Responsibilities Accurately document all sales activity within CRM systems Track lead sources, deposits, and conversion metrics Prepare weekly sales reporting and occupancy updates Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company standards Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of senior living sales experience required Previous pre-leasing or new development experience strongly preferred Experience in luxury hospitality, luxury real estate, or high-end service environments preferred Proven track record of achieving occupancy and sales goals Strong networking and relationship-building skills Exceptional communication and presentation abilities Professional, polished, and customer-service driven demeanor Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for events CRM experience preferred Bachelor's degree preferred What Makes This Opportunity Unique Opportunity to help launch a brand-new luxury senior living community High visibility role with significant impact on community success Collaborative and entrepreneurial environment Hospitality-driven culture focused on service excellence Ability to build a community from the very beginning and create lasting market relationships About Galerie Living Galerie Living is redefining senior living through hospitality-inspired experiences, elevated design, and innovative community concepts.
