Job Description
A well-established, high-volume automotive dealership is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales organization. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a proven automotive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about developing people, and is committed to driving performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience. We are looking for a forward-thinking, energetic leader who can build strong teams, inspire accountability, and continuously improve processes while maintaining a positive dealership culture. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the dealership's sales operations, including New, Used, and Finance collaboration. Develop, coach, mentor, and motivate sales managers and sales consultants to achieve individual and dealership performance goals. Drive vehicle sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market share. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with inventory management to ensure the proper mix of vehicles to meet customer demand. Analyze dealership performance metrics, manufacturer programs, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain effective sales processes that improve efficiency and the overall customer experience. Review sales reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators to develop action plans and achieve business objectives. Partner with executive leadership to develop strategies that promote long-term dealership growth. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Toyota Sales Management experience is required. Proven success leading a high-volume automotive sales operation. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and retain top sales talent. Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of dealership operations, inventory management, manufacturer incentive programs, and variable operations. Results-oriented with a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
