Regional Sales Manager -
Community Banking Location:
Carroll & Frederick Counties, Maryland Lead a Market. Shape a Team. Make an Impact. As our Regional Community Banking Sales Manager , you'll work closely with senior leadership to drive performance, cultivate future leaders, and ensure teams are equipped to deliver exceptional service, build lasting customer relationships, and achieve their business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop multiple Community Banking (branch) offices, support the execution of market strategies, and strengthen relationships throughout Carroll and Frederick Counties. Creates individualized development plans, delivers timely feedback, and identifies high-potential talent to build a strong leadership pipeline across the region. Build community connections with local businesses, organizations, and key influencers. Effectively collaborates across multiple business lines and champions partnership and cross-sell opportunities with Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Wealth Management, Mortgage Banking, Insurance services, etc. Partner with executive leadership to help shape the region s strategy and success. Competitive Compensation and Benefits - This position typically pays $100,000 - 140,000 annual base salary, but may be higher based on experience . What You ll Do Lead, coach and support Community Banking Managers across the region. Sales and service performance planning. Build branch teammate skill sets around sales effectiveness, high-quality service and transaction quality. Execute strategies for sales and business development that deliver measurable results. Build strong client and community relationships to expand market presence. Champion an outstanding customer experience across all locations. Monitor performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement. Ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Identify growth opportunities, develop and effectively execute strategies to achieve individual and team-level business objectives. Represent the bank at community events, networking opportunities and business forums. Travel requirements - Regular travel within Carroll and Frederick Counties to support assigned office locations, leadership meetings, customer visits, and community engagement activities. A valid drivers' license is required. What You Bring to the Table 8 + years of progressive banking experience , including leadership responsibilities. A successful track record of sales growth, business development, and team leadership. Strong knowledge of retail banking, consumer lending, and relationship management. Excellent coaching, communication, and strategic planning skills. Passion for community involvement and building lasting customer relationships. Proficient PC skills, including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Education - Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred. High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
