Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and maintaining accounts in Delphi and CI Manages time working between outside calls, at the hotels, and the Northeast Sales Office. Experience with proactive initiatives comprising solicitations, cold calls, site visits, outside calls, appointments. Log all activities (including proactive initiatives and maintenance activities) in Delphi and CITY. Submit weekly activity report and weekly schedule every Friday afternoon Complete action plans for annual sales plan (generally due in September of each year) Visits the top accounts on a quarterly basis Ensures business booked is within hotel parameters Processes all business correspondence within acceptable time limits as outlined in company SOPs. Creates proposals, contracts and other related booking documentation as required. Effectively uses sales resources and administrative/support staff. Attend community activities (i.e. CVB, Chamber events) as needed. Attend regional/national tradeshows as needed Sales Manager needs to be proactive and aggressive and have a good understanding of feeder markets and competitor hotels. Cross sells to other hotels in the OP portfolio when appropriate Help organize sales blitzes or other special events. Handle a large book of repeat business Attend weekly meetings:
