Municipal Equipment / Heavy Equipment / Environmental Services About the Role We are seeking a Regional Territory Manager based in the Michigan area to help grow market presence by developing relationships, driving sales, and representing a leading municipal equipment brand throughout the territory. This role is ideal for a motivated outside sales professional who thrives in relationship-driven environments and enjoys working directly with municipalities, contractors, environmental companies, and fleet operations. Key Responsibilities Territory Development & Sales Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers through in-person meetings, phone outreach, and email communication Expand brand awareness by promoting the company's full range of municipal equipment and service offerings Strategically manage sales routes and schedules to maximize territory coverage and market penetration Identify new business opportunities while growing and maintaining existing accounts Customer Engagement & Support Conduct product presentations, equipment demonstrations, and customer training sessions Qualify leads and manage quotes, pipeline activity, and follow-up using Salesforce CRM Coordinate equipment delivery and provide hands-on customer support and demonstrations Collaboration & Communication Serve as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution Partner closely with parts, service, rental, and administrative teams to deliver exceptional customer service Maintain weekly activity reports and communicate territory schedules with leadership Cross-Selling & Brand Development Promote the company's full equipment offering including: New Equipment Used Equipment Rentals Parts Service Attend supplier visits, trade shows, factory tours, and industry events to strengthen customer engagement and brand presence Participate in ongoing supplier and internal product training programs Required Qualifications CDL or ability to obtain within one year of hire Clean driving record Strong communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to travel consistently throughout assigned territory Preferred Qualifications Prior outside sales experience Experience within: Municipal equipment Heavy equipment Waste & recycling Environmental services Vocational trucks Public works equipment Contractor equipment industries Skills Territory Management Relationship Building Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
