The Sales Manager will lead the sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring consistent performance across the team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Leadership:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets. Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to drive performance and accountability. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Liaison to Haas. Manage and track all sales opportunities across machine tool and engineered solutions business. Manage, optimize, and build out reporting platforms in Salesforce. Develop accurate weekly and monthly forecasts. Build and maintain a database of competitive machine market information and intelligence, accessible to the sales team. Stay current with evolving sales tools, technology, sales strategies, and best practices. Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new sales team members. Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments to ensure alignment. Align sales and marketing efforts to maximize growth and conversion. Support the development of campaigns, promotions, and brand awareness efforts. Develop impactful sales materials, presentations, and product demonstrations that communicate Gerotech's value. Implement new ways to develop brand awareness like promotions and campaigns.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of sales experience in machine tools, manufacturing, or industrial equipment. Proven success in a sales leadership role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Experience aligning sales and marketing strategies. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Willingness to travel as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to work in a variety of physical positions including sitting, standing, walking, and driving Combination of indoor office environment and on-site industrial settings Exposure to varying weather conditions when visiting customer sites May be exposed to noise or active manufacturing environments Required use of appropriate PPE when on-site (safety glasses, shoes, hearing protection, etc.)
