Director of Events & Venue Sales 1600 Ledgestone Way, Reeds Spring, MO 65737 $56,277.29 - $65,000.00 a year - Full-time $56,277.29 - $65,000.00 a year - Full-time Full-Time Position StoneBridge Village is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Event Director to lead and grow our venue and event operations. This position is responsible for promoting, booking, coordinating, and executing a wide variety of events including weddings, corporate meetings, banquets, charity events, family reunions, community gatherings, and special occasions. Located within one of the Ozarks' premier gated golf communities, StoneBridge Village offers a unique setting that combines hospitality, recreation, and exceptional guest experiences. We are looking for a motivated professional who can help expand our event business while delivering outstanding service to clients and guests. Primary ResponsibilitiesEvent Sales & Coordination Promote StoneBridge Village as a premier event destination. Coordinate all aspects of venue rentals and special events from inquiry through completion. Prepare, negotiate, and execute event agreements and contracts. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after events. Develop detailed event plans and timelines to ensure successful execution. Client & Vendor Relations Coordinate venue setup, food and beverage service, audiovisual needs, entertainment, and other event requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, caterers, community organizations, and local businesses. Ensure event spaces are properly prepared and restored following each event. Marketing & Community Engagement Manage social media and promotional efforts related to events and venue rentals. Maintain event-related website content and marketing materials. Develop relationships with local civic groups, businesses, and organizations to increase bookings and community visibility. Represent StoneBridge Village at networking and community events. Planning & Administration Develop annual event revenue goals and operating plans. Monitor event budgets, expenses, and profitability. Utilize event management and reservation software to manage bookings and event logistics. Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Activities, Maintenance, and Administrative departments to ensure exceptional event execution. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, venue management, catering sales, hotel sales, wedding coordination, or a related field. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Experience with social media marketing and event promotion. Valid driver's license. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require. Preferred Qualifications Experience in banquet operations, hospitality management, or country club/event venue operations. Sales and marketing experience with demonstrated success generating event revenue. Familiarity with reservation, CRM, or event management software. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to manage multiple projects and interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
