We're looking for a Director of Business Development who takes a long-term, relationship-driven approach to growth; someone who understands that trust, consistency, and follow-through are what truly build a lasting pipeline. In this role, you'll focus on developing meaningful connections across the mission critical and industrial sectors, positioning Bingman as a trusted partner for the long haul, not just the next project. A Day in the Life Build and nurture lasting relationships with industry professionals, clients, and partners Stay engaged with key contacts over time to identify opportunities as they naturally develop Strengthen Bingman's presence and reputation within target markets Listen closely to client needs and align solutions that create long-term value Track relationship activity and pipeline progress within a CRM platform Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and thoughtful pursuit process Represent Bingman at industry events, associations, and networking opportunities Share insights on market trends, client feedback, and relationship development with leadership Travel to meet with clients and partners (up to 60%) Core Responsibilities Develop and execute a business development strategy centered on long-term relationship growth Cultivate trust with decision-makers across multiple levels of client organizations Identify and prioritize opportunities that align with Bingman's strengths and values Partner closely with marketing and internal teams to support thoughtful, targeted outreach Maintain consistent communication with clients to strengthen partnerships over time What You Bring Bachelor's degree required Strong business acumen with experience in the A/E/C industry Proven success in building and maintaining long-term client relationships Understanding of design/build construction processes Experience with CRM systems and relationship tracking Established connections in Industrial, Cold Storage, Manufacturing, Mission Critical, or Data Center sectors are a strong plus Strong communication skills with a thoughtful, relationship-first approach Why Join Bingman Construction?
