This is a field-based B2B sales position focused on developing new accounts, building client relationships, and growing an assigned territory. You'll work directly with business owners and decision-makers throughout the Durham area, identifying new business opportunities, introducing our services, and developing long-term client relationships. Most of your workweek will be spent in the field conducting business meetings, prospecting within your territory, and following an established sales process with clear activity expectations and defined goals. We're looking for someone who communicates professionally, is comfortable initiating new business conversations, manages their time effectively, and can consistently execute a sales plan. In This Role, You Will Develop and maintain a consistent sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and in-person outreach to local businesses within your territory. Build long-term relationships with local business clients while providing ongoing service and support Conduct professional, consultative sales presentations to help business owners understand the products and services available to support their employees Identify new business opportunities and develop accounts throughout the Charlotte market Participate in ongoing training and professional development to strengthen sales knowledge and performance Maintain a high standard of communication and service throughout the client relationship What We're Looking For Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confidence initiating conversations with business owners and decision-makers Ability to organize and manage a field-based schedule effectively Consistent follow-through and attention to client needs Ability to work toward defined activity and performance goals Willingness to learn and apply an established sales process Experience in B2B sales, territory sales, account development, client-facing roles, management, athletics, or military service can translate well to this position
