Fields Landscaping Co Inc Business Development Manager Greensboro / Triad Area, NC Full-Time | In Person About Us Fields Landscaping Co Inc is a rapidly growing commercial and residential landscaping company serving the Triad area of North Carolina. We specialize in full-service landscape maintenance, drainage solutions, irrigation, hardscaping, turf management, snow and ice management, and large-scale property enhancements. We are seeking a motivated, organized, relationship-driven, and growth-minded Business Development Manager to help drive company growth, strengthen client relationships, generate new business opportunities, and help take Fields Landscaping Co Inc to the next level. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, meeting with commercial and residential clients, building long-term relationships, improving systems, following up on leads, and helping grow a fast-paced technology-driven service company. Key Responsibilities Commercial & Residential Sales Generate and follow up on leads from company marketing efforts, referrals, website inquiries, cold outreach, networking events, and existing client relationships Meet with commercial property managers, HOA managers, facility managers, developers, contractors, and residential clients to discuss landscape service opportunities Conduct site walkthroughs and assist in developing estimates and proposals using company systems Follow up consistently on pending estimates and maintain communication throughout the sales process Identify opportunities to upsell existing clients on additional services including: Landscape maintenance Mulching & pine needles Irrigation maintenance Drainage solutions Turf applications Pruning Seasonal flowers Enhancements & installations Snow & ice management Business Development & Networking Represent Fields Landscaping Co Inc at BNI groups, Chamber of Commerce events, networking functions, industry meetings, and client presentations Build and maintain relationships with vendors, property managers, contractors, HOAs, developers, and local businesses Help open the right doors for the company through relationship-building and strategic networking Assist in growing recurring revenue opportunities and expanding the company throughout the Triad market and beyond Client Communication & Professional Presentation Maintain organized records of leads, client communications, and follow-up schedules using company CRM systems and technology platforms Coordinate with office staff, operations managers, and field teams to ensure smooth communication and project execution Provide professional customer service and assist with client retention and satisfaction reviews Conduct Google Meet and Zoom meetings with clients and prospective customers Present proposals, presentations, company capabilities, and project scopes professionally both in person and virtually Write professional emails and communicate clearly with clients, vendors, management, and team members Technology, AI & Systems We are looking for someone who understands modern business growth strategies and is highly comfortable using AI-driven tools, automation systems, CRM platforms, and technology to improve efficiency, communication, lead generation, and operational growth. The ideal candidate understands how to help scale a service-based business through: AI tools and automation CRM management and pipeline organization Professional communication systems Business networking and relationship development Lead follow-up systems Marketing coordination Strategic partnerships Process improvement and operational efficiency Experience using platforms such as: AI software tools Google Workspace CRM systems LMN or similar service software Microsoft Office Scheduling and project management software Google Meet & Zoom is highly preferred. Qualifications Experience in landscaping, construction, property management, business development, sales, or related service industries preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Sales and customer service experience preferred Self-motivated and highly organized Ability to manage multiple projects, conversations, and follow-ups consistently Professional appearance and demeanor Comfortable working both in the office and in the field Valid driver's license required Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusCompensation & Benefits Starting Salary:
