We Believe That Each Team Member Contributes Directly to Our Growth and Success As a Company. Come Grow with Us! We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Hickory, NC ! The Territory Sales Manager reports directly to the Sales Director. This position focuses on managing all sales aspects of their sales region, including introducing new innovative products, growing existing customer and new prospect relationships, and partnering with manufacturers' representatives and distributors to achieve company sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop overall territory plans with specific sales targets Maintain a working knowledge of USI products and how to demonstrate them Build valuable relationships with customers and distributors Contact and visit (in-person and virtually) new and existing customers and distributors to grow relationships and generate sales Assess customer needs and offer solutions and support via a consultative approach Generate and follow up on leads from calls, visits, trade shows, and other marketing efforts Create and manage opportunities for customer quotes and sample requests Manage CRM database Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics Initiate and follow through on the product approval process Coordinate a successful sales strategy with the Manufacturer's Representative and the Distribution Network. Travel throughout the territory to provide technical demonstrations and presentations of all products Work closely with Customer Service to keep account activities current Evaluate market trends, competitive activity, and opportunities with existing or new products Advise management of new product ideas to increase market share Participate in trade shows and exhibitions as needed. Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience required. Ability to travel 50% of the year Spend 30 hours per week in the office when not traveling on the road Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check Experience within the electric utility markets is a plus Must be able to pull and utilize our product demonstration trailers
Pay Range:
$90,000 - $115,000/yr base salary Annual bonus opportunity
