Description and Requirements About the Position Lenovo's Cloud Service Provider (CSP) organization is seeking an exceptional executive sales leader to serve as Director, AI Cloud Sales

  • North America.

In this role, you will take ownership of a multi-billion dollar territory, steering the sales strategy, client alignment, and revenue execution across a premier portfolio of North American AI Cloud customers. This portfolio spans NA AI Cloud customers mainly neoclouds focused on GPU-as-a-Service. You will directly lead a dedicated team of Senior Account Executives driving core Compute and Storage-heavy business, taking end-to-end accountability for overall account strategy, complex demand planning, pricing models, and the seamless execution of large-scale, custom infrastructure deployments. This position is based in the San Francisco Bay area and will have PST business hours. Traveling for this role will be at 50%.

Key Responsibilities Territory Leadership & Business Strategy Multi-Billion Dollar Territory Management:

Drive growth, profitability, and market share retention across a high-stakes, multi-billion dollar portfolio of AI Cloud.

Team Leadership & Development:

Direct, mentor, and empower Senior Account Executives focused on high-density compute and cloud storage growth strategies.

Executive Relationship Building:

Establish and nurture strategic, trust-based relationships with C-level executives, engineering heads, and procurement leaders across target accounts.

Demand Planning & Pricing Execution Demand Planning & Forecasting:

Partner with client engineering and supply chain leadership to map multi-quarter demand forecasts, ensuring long-term visibility, accurate commodity allocation, and delivery assurance.

Strategic Pricing & Deal Structuring:

Oversee complex financial modeling, customized pricing frameworks, and margin management to win large-scale GPU platform bids while maximizing bottom-line profitability.

Allocation & Supply Chain Optimization:

Work closely with Global Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to navigate allocation dynamics, component Lead-times, and rapid demand scaling.

Execution of Complex Deployments End-to-End Deployment Execution:

Lead cross-functional alignment across Services, Field Engineering, Supply Chain, and Logistics to orchestrate seamless, on-time rollouts of large rack-scale deployments into client data centers nationwide.

Custom Architecture Solutions:

Translate client workload requirements-ranging from high-throughput storage to dense rack-scale compute engines-into tailored Lenovo ISG hardware platforms optimized for total cost of ownership (TCO) and power efficiency. Basic Qualifications 12+ years of Progressive technology sales leadership in data center infrastructure, enterprise servers, cloud storage, or hyperscale environments.

5+ years managing multi-million or multi-billion dollar territories within the Cloud Service Provider (CSP), Hyperscale, or neocloud market segments.

Direct management experience leading high-performing Account Executives focused on complex, hardware-centric sales cycles. Preferred Qualifications 15+ years of Experience leading high-performing Senior Account Executives as a formal people manager managing multi-million or billion dollar territories within the Cloud Service Provider (CSP), Hyperscale, or neocloud market segments.

Demonstrated Experience with demand planning, supply chain forecasting, custom pricing strategy, and execution of complex, multi-site hardware deployments.

In-depth technical knowledge of high-density x86/accelerated compute architectures, dense storage platforms, and data center deployment dynamics.

Experience growing High Potential talent.

Experience responding to RFPs and handling multi-billion dollar territory growth and expansion.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience and comfort creating and presenting slide decks.

Experience working with global internal teams across Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Sales and technical teams.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 203,160-311,466 USD. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
