  • Full-time, Contract The Sales Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth within the assigned territory.
This role combines office and field responsibilities, including client meetings, project consultations, and occasional on-site surveys to assess customer needs and support accurate estimating and proposal development. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers. Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities to achieve revenue goals. Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product recommendations. Coordinate with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, and project consultations. Perform occasional site surveys at customer locations within approximately a two-hour driving radius to gather measurements, assess project conditions, and document job requirements. Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and forecasts in the company's sales revenue forecast Follow up on leads, proposals, and customer inquiries in a timely manner. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and product offerings. Represent the company professionally while delivering exceptional customer service. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, industrial, or related industries. (Preferred) Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to read construction drawings and perform basic field measurements is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills. Physical & Travel Requirements Valid driver's license. Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, including occasional site surveys within a two-hour driving radius. Ability to walk construction sites, climb stairs and ladders as needed.
