Event Sales Manager

Event Sales Manager New Position! Looking for experienced High Energy Catering Event Manager to sell, plan, oversee and manage events. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have great attention to detail, and possess the attitude and personality needed to be able to build great relationships. Responsibilities include administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage needs, managing event sites and pick up, billing instructions and final review. $55 to 60k plus benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure BEO contracts and interoffice communications/paper flow are up to standard The confidence and ability to work with 3rd party vendors and/or rental companies to ensure all necessary components required for an on- or off-site catered event are present for the event Act as the on-site contact responsible for the smooth execution of events Meet with clients to understand details of their requirements for functions as necessary Effectively communicate and interact daily with all FOH and BOH management regarding any event or client changes Maintain accurate event files, production reports and trace system, and ensure security and confidentiality of client information and restaurant data Maintain complete knowledge of: Location of all function spaces and location-specific details; All Styles of meeting and banquet room settings; All on site a/v equipment/rental equipment; Current clients and accounts, including their history and future potential.

REQUIREMENTS

Both on- and off-site catering experience are advantageous for this role Strong presentation & communication skills required, both written and verbal Professional dress and appearance are required Experience in the restaurant industry is required, Full-service and catering background A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Pay:

$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
