Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Agronomy Sales/Operations professional to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive business growth by developing and managing customer relationships, executing strategic sales initiatives, and overseeing operational processes within the agronomy sector. Your expertise in technical sales, account management, and business development will empower you to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs while exceeding sales targets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the success of our agricultural products and services in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Duties Cultivate and manage strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying new business opportunities through warm calling and networking. Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals and customer expectations. Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to promote agronomy products and services effectively. Manage customer accounts by providing exceptional service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services, leveraging technology sales expertise for maximum impact. During Spring season assistance is required with plant operations, seed treating, and deliveries. Qualifications Proven experience in technical or software sales within a B2B (business-to-business) environment, preferably in agriculture or related industries. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently while maintaining positive client relationships. Demonstrated success in business development, marketing strategies, and managing customer accounts to achieve sales targets. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively engage clients and internal teams. Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategic plans accordingly.
