This combined role positions you to be directly responsible for the complete customer experience giving you direct access to your customers and responsibility over their corresponding supply chain to ensure success for the entire team. Programs and criteria for the success of those programs will be measured by company objectives including: Maximum Inventory Goals, Customer On-Time Delivery, Gross Profit Results, and Vendor Performance for example. We are currently seeking to hire Key Duties and a Customer & Purchasing Territory Manager to join our Team Responsibilities Enter and confirm Customer Orders specific customer territory Enter and confirm Vendor Orders specific to those customers Routing of Sales Orders and incoming Purchase Orders Update Excel Programs to coordinate supplier lead times with customer forecasts Maintain Inventory for those customers (collaborating with colleague) Update system with changing schedules (customers and vendors), communicate with customers and vendors to ensure best solutions are achieved. Coordinate shipments and material cost criteria consistent with customer and vendor guidelines Negotiate pricing with vendors and spot-buy customers to meet Gross Profit targets Negotiate deliveries with vendors and customers to meet on time delivery targets Share shipping responsibilities Maintain Order Files Maintain Scrap Report in computer system Maintain VMI Programs for key accounts Enter Vendor Claims Answer Telephones / E-mails Reports to: VP Sales Key Job Requirements Communicates well with others; Word & Excel proficient; General Computer Knowledge, Team Player, some college education
