Resnick Distributors , headquartered in New Brunswick, New Jersey, is a leading wholesale distributor serving convenience stores and independent retailers across the Northeast. We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Sales to lead our next phase of growth. Reporting to the CEO, this role will shape and execute our long-term sales strategy, build a high-performing sales team, deepen customer relationships, and drive profitable growth. This is a compelling opportunity for an experienced sales leader to develop people, strengthen organizational performance, and make a lasting impact on a successful family-owned company. Responsibilities Sales Strategy Development Identify new market opportunities and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the Company's long-term growth objectives. Team Leadership Manage, coach, and develop regional managers, sales representatives and merchandisers. Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance. Performance Management Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet quarterly and annual targets. Strengthen CRM adoption, assess territory alignment, and use sales analytics to uncover growth opportunities. Business Growth Increase gross profit through strategic account management and sales growth. Expand the active customer base through new customer acquisition and customer retention. Cross Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Customer Service to support Company initiatives. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience managing sales teams across multiple regions Experience selling directly to convenience stores or within wholesale food, grocery, or beverage distribution Ability to travel up to 50% of the time , primarily in the New York City and Philadelphia metro areas
