About Elevate Pilates Elevate Pilates is a boutique Pilates studio built around a simple idea: embodiment, intention, and community, delivered through expert instruction and an elevated studio experience. We recently opened our Norwood, NJ location, and we're looking for a hands-on leader to take full ownership of it — building the client base, the culture, and the numbers from the ground up. The Opportunity Our Norwood studio is brand new, and we are looking for a General Manager who can build real momentum — establishing the systems, the client base, and the sales engine that will turn this location into a thriving, profitable studio. You will have full operational and sales accountability for this location — think of yourself as running your own small business within the Elevate Pilates brand, with the support of ownership behind you. If you love the energy of a startup, get genuine satisfaction from hitting sales targets, and know how to build a loyal client community from scratch, this role was built for you. What You'll Own Sales & Revenue Growth Drive membership and class-package sales through proactive outreach, lead follow-up, front-desk conversion, and referral generation. Own the studio's revenue targets and build repeatable systems to hit them — not just react to walk-in traffic.
Studio Operations Run day-to-day operations:
scheduling, class programming, inventory and retail, partner relationships, facilities, and studio software. Keep the studio running tightly and the client experience consistent every single day. This role requires being on-site during class times (minimum of 15 classes along with remote or in studio work) — you are the face of the studio for each client who walks in. Team Leadership Recruit, hire, train, and manage front-desk staff and instructors. Set performance expectations, run regular check-ins, and build a team culture that clients can feel the moment they walk in. Client Experience & Retention Own the full client journey from first inquiry to loyal regular. Build systems for onboarding, follow-up, win-back campaigns, and community events that turn first-timers into long-term members. Local Marketing & Community Outreach Get the Elevate Pilates name known in Norwood and the surrounding area. Build relationships with local businesses, run grassroots marketing and partnership initiatives and represent the studio at community events. Financial Management Manage the studio's
