Job Description
Our client in the automotive marketing and experiential services industry is seeking a Regional Sales Director to drive new business growth, expand client partnerships, and help shape commercial strategy across a portfolio of integrated automotive marketing solutions. This is a senior-level sales leadership opportunity for a relationship-driven professional with deep automotive industry expertise and a track record of selling complex, multi-channel solutions to enterprise clients. The role can be based remotely or in a hybrid environment and requires regular travel.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute regional and national sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Build, manage, and grow a qualified pipeline of new business opportunities.
Sell integrated solutions spanning experiential marketing, fleet services, vehicle logistics, creator and influencer programs, content production, media, retail activation, partnerships, and lead generation initiatives.
Expand existing client relationships by identifying opportunities across additional business units, stakeholders, and service offerings.
Lead prospecting efforts, discovery meetings, proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiations.
Build and maintain senior-level relationships across automotive marketing, communications, fleet, retail, dealer, and procurement organizations.
Translate client objectives into strategic, integrated solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Partner cross-functionally with marketing, account management, and operations teams to develop and deliver winning client programs.
Recruit, mentor, and develop sales talent while fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Establish clear performance expectations, account ownership, and revenue goals for the sales organization.
Conduct pipeline reviews and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting practices.
Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Represent the organization at automotive, marketing, and industry events to strengthen brand presence and generate business opportunities.
What You'll Need:
7+ years of sales, business development, or client acquisition experience.
Demonstrated success selling complex services or solutions within the automotive industry.
Experience working with automotive OEMs, agencies, mobility companies, or related organizations.
Strong network of relationships across the automotive ecosystem.
Background selling integrated marketing, experiential, media, production, fleet, retail, or related solutions.
Proven ability to build sales pipelines and close large, multi-stakeholder opportunities.
Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams.
Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and financial acumen.
Strategic and consultative approach to client engagement and business development.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable building relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly.
