The Role As the Director of Sales , you own the commercial roadmap for the hotel's group and event segments. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you collaborate on overall sales strategy to ensure our room revenue targets, group booking pace, and banquet revenues outpace the competition. Act as our primary face in the community. You will proactively discover, solicit, and close high-value corporate accounts, association business, and tour groups, turning event planners into lifelong partners. The Comp Set Challenger:
Drive a proactive sales strategy that explicitly targets a number-one RevPAR ranking within our competitive set, ensuring our market growth consistently outpaces local competitors. The Revenue Navigator:
Develop and execute the annual sales and marketing plan with targeted results by market segment. You will focus on maximizing room revenue, increasing group ADR, and driving top-line growth. The Banquet Booking Engine:
Partner with our events and catering team to aggressively target, book, and contract profitable banquet and catering business that maximizes our historic function spaces. The Rhythm of Forecasting:
Own the data. You will produce accurate weekly and monthly sales reports, map out 90-day room revenue projections, and maintain a rolling 12-month outlook for all group, banquet, and catering business. The Account Guardian:
Implement a rigorous lead-generation and account-performance tracking process to monitor key accounts, identify market gaps, and aggressively eliminate blocks to hitting our targets. The Leadership Anchor:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a cohesive sales team. You will manage the employee development and certification process for Sales Managers, Event/Catering Managers, and Coordinators, keeping our daily execution sharp. The Narrative Closer:
Oversee the operational aspects of booked business, from initial RFPs and proposals to final contracts. You ensure every piece of client correspondence reflects an elite, world-class standard. What You Bring The Professional Pedigree:
5+ years of progressive hotel sales leadership experience, with proven skills directing a sales team through both peak and shoulder seasons. Experience with the Hilton ecosystem or premium boutique brands is highly valued. The People-First Leader:
