Job Description

Founding Director MuniReg Beachwood, OH Job Details Full-time $65,000 - $80,000 a year 20 hours ago Benefits Profit sharing Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Analysis skills Creativity Sales strategy Analytical thinking Analytics Full Job Description Job Overview Build and Launch a New Municipal Service Line Northeast Ohio An established Northeast Ohio enterprise is launching a new service line built from our existing work with local municipal governments. We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial emerging leader to help build this initiative from the ground up. The vision is established. The market opportunity is real. What does not yet exist is the operational infrastructure, and that is where you come in. This role is ideal for a driven early-career professional who wants far more than a typical job description. You will gain hands-on experience building systems, launching services, supporting municipal clients, and scaling a new line of business inside an established company. If you are energized by ownership, growth, and meaningful community impact, this role offers an uncommon runway. We are looking for someone who wants to build something meaningful, and stay with it long enough to see it scale. Early stages will require initiative, adaptability, and sustained effort. In return, high-performing candidates may have the opportunity to participate in the financial upside of the service line over time, including potential profit-sharing or other performance-linked incentives. This is not a short-term stepping-stone position. It is designed for someone who wants to invest energy, learn from the President, and grow with the business over time. Responsibilities Working directly alongside the company's President, the originator of this initiative, you will:
  • Help design and build the operational infrastructure for a new service line
  • Develop processes, workflows, and service delivery systems
  • Support and gradually lead municipal client relationships
  • Assist with business development, outreach, and sales strategy
  • Track performance metrics and refine operations for scalability
  • Contribute ideas to improve and expand the model over time This is not a maintenance role.
It is a build role. Mentorship & Development You will work closely with the company's President, who continues to actively refine and enhance the vision behind this initiative. The President will provide direct mentorship, particularly in municipal-facing matters, helping you develop credibility, confidence, and fluency in working with local governments. Over time, you will be expected to take increasing ownership of client relationships and operational leadership. This is a structured growth path, not a sink-or-swim assignment. Long-Term Builder Mindset Sweat equity is real in this role. Qualifications
  • 0-3 years of professional experience (municipal, consulting, policy, business, or related fields a plus)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Comfortable taking initiative without waiting to be told what to do
  • Clear communicator with professional presence
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, you enjoy building and improving systems
  • Motivated by impact in communities and economic development
  • High work ethic with long-term growth ambitions Prior municipal experience is helpful but not required. Drive, maturity, and execution ability matter more. Compensation & Growth
  • Starting base salary range: $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience
  • Performance-based bonus tied to operational milestones and revenue growth
  • For the right candidate, there may be opportunities to take a smaller base early in exchange for a share of long-term financial upside, reflecting ownership in the growth and success of the service line
  • Clear pathway to higher responsibility, increased compensation, and long-term influence within the organization This role is designed as a leadership development track.
High performers who commit to building and scaling the initiative will see accelerated growth and meaningful long-term rewards. Why This Role Is Different Most early-career roles offer narrow responsibilities and slow progression.
This position offers exposure to:
  • Executive-level strategy
  • Direct municipal engagement
  • Business development
  • Operations buildout
  • Scalable service design You will help build something meaningful from the ground up , not simply manage what already exists.
You will have autonomy, mentorship, and the chance to shape a business line that grows with your contributions.
