Job Description
Brief Description The Sales Manager leads, develops, and drives performance of Account Managers across assigned territories. This role is responsible for executing sales strategy, achieving revenue growth, and building a high-performing team through coaching, accountability, and data-driven decision-making. Requirements High School Diploma or GED (bachelor's preferred) Proven consultative sales experience Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Willingness to travel Summary Leadership & Team Development Coach and develop Account Managers to expand customer relationships and improve sales effectiveness Lead performance management including evaluations and corrective action(s) Foster a high-performance, accountable culture Ensure proper training and alignment to company goals Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and execute territory sales plans (monthly and quarterly) Monitor performance and adjust strategies to maximize growth Guide pipeline development and improve conversion rates Drive revenue growth and customer retention Customer & Market Engagement Partner on key accounts through business reviews and site visits Build relationships with corporate-level customers Participate in trade shows and ensure follow-up on leads and opportunities Operational Excellence Maintain accurate reporting and weekly updates Oversee travel planning and ensure ROI on visits Ensure compliance with company policies Collaborate cross-functionally to support business needs Communication & Alignment Provide consistent updates as determined by national sales manager Drive consistent internal and cross-functional communication Lead by example in professionalism and decision-making Work Environment Office-based with extended sitting and computer use Travel required for customer visits and trade shows
