Job Description

District Manager Job Summary:
The District Manager is a key member of the leadership team and is directly responsible for the overall success of the restaurants under their leadership. They must strive every day to deliver an unbeatable work culture. Span of control is 6-8 restaurants. The District Manager reports to the Director of Operations. The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job responsibilities:
District Manager Job Requirements:
Conducts visits to restaurants weekly, bi-weekly at minimum Willing and able to work side by side with team or operate a shift if needed Participates in leadership calls and meetings as required Supports the Director of Operations as requested All other job duties and special projects as necessary
District Manager Job Responsibilities:
Talent Management Effectively hires, trains, coaches, and develops successful General Managers Assists General Managers to maintain properly staffed restaurants Identifies high potentials, develops a pipeline of talent, and conducts regular succession planning Executes brand training program and implements additional training plans as necessary Delivers an unbeatable work culture that drives engagement, increases retention, and decreases turnover Financial Leadership Reviews financial reports to identify opportunities and works closely with General Managers to drive improvements Ensures restaurants and district meet or exceed profitability targets Validates and maintains the integrity of restaurant data (research and reconciliations) Conducts cash audits and inventory audits as required Operational Excellence Conducts full restaurant visits, identifies operational gaps and addresses them in a timely and effective manner Coaches management team on effective and efficient processes Ensures brand standards are met or exceeded Achieves 95+ Health Department ratings and passing brand evaluations by ensuring a properly trained and engaged management team in each location Guest Satisfaction Sets stretch goals for guest satisfaction and speed of service and then coaches team to achieve them Reviews guest feedback and partners with team to ensure any concerns are resolved quickly Conducts guest focused restaurant visits and provides praise and coaching Communication and Administration Stays abreast of brand requirements and works with team to maintain them Cascades information to team through weekly conference calls or in person meetings Completes, and ensures their General Managers complete all required duties in a timely and accurate manner Maintains all legal requirements
District Manager Qualifications:
5+ years of multi-unit Quick Service Restaurant management experience is required Experience managing $1M units with drive thru's is required Associate degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred Valid state Driver's License required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Serv Safe© Manager and Proctor certification preferred
