The Director of Sales- RAE Coils is a senior-level position responsible for leading and managing sales efforts related to coils within the company.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Growth Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for coils. Identify and target potential customers and market segments to expand the customer base. Lead the sales team to meet or exceed sales goals, providing guidance and support to ensure a high-performance culture. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and make informed business decisions. 2. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, marketing, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Lead high-level negotiations, ensuring long-term contracts and strategic partnerships. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's products and expand the network of potential customers. Direct sales teams in building strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. 3. Sales Team Leadership & Development Lead the sales team by providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team. Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and production, to ensure the seamless integration of sales commitments with project execution. Develop and manage sales budgets, forecast sales volumes, and analyze sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement. 4. Market Expansion & Innovation Drive the identification of new market opportunities and spearhead initiatives to enter emerging markets. Lead efforts in product innovation and customization, working closely with the engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet client demands. 5. Compliance & Operational Efficiency Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Attend work as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or as specified by the supervisor. Complete other tasks as directed by the supervisor. Comply with government regulations, laws, company policies, and company procedures. Desired Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the coils industry or a related field. Strong knowledge of coils, including their applications, market trends, and customer needs. Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in sales forecasting tools and other sales-related software. Competent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Proven sales experience with a strong technical understanding of the HVAC/Refrigeration industry. Effective oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships. Basic mathematical skills required for data analysis and forecasting. Interaction withOthers:
The Director of Sales- Coils reports to the Vice President of Sales and must be able to accurately receive and execute directives.
Working Environment:
Work is primarily conducted in an office environment, with occasional visits to manufacturing sites and customer locations. Some travel may be required to meet with clients, attend industry events, or participate in business development activities.
