Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue growth for the senior living community through strategic sales planning, relationship building, and targeted marketing initiatives. This role combines direct sales, community outreach, and brand management to attract prospective residents and their families while maintaining a strong presence in the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve and exceed occupancy and revenue targets Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, tours, follow-ups, and closing Maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, and move-ins using CRM systems Analyze sales metrics and adjust strategies to improve conversion rates Marketing Strategy & Execution Plan and implement marketing campaigns across digital, print, and community channels Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, email campaigns, and social media content Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and local demographics to inform strategy Manage the community's online presence, including website updates and reputation management Community Outreach & Relationship Building Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources such as healthcare providers, social workers, and community organizations Represent the community at local events, networking functions, and industry meetings Develop partnerships that increase visibility and drive qualified leads Customer Experience Conduct personalized tours for prospective residents and families, highlighting services, amenities, and lifestyle benefits Ensure a high-touch, empathetic approach tailored to the needs of seniors and their families Collaborate with operations and care teams to ensure a seamless move-in experience Team Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with the Executive Director and department heads to align sales efforts with operational capacity Train and support team members involved in the sales process Foster a positive, goal-oriented team environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred) 3-5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Proficiency with CRM systems and digital marketing tools Compassionate and customer-focused approach
