Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic National Powersports Sales Manager to lead our nationwide sales initiatives within the powersports industry. This position will be based at our headquarters in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. Powersports Sales Manager will report directly to the Owner/CEO and will have authority over powersports-related operations at each location. Store managers will report to this position regarding powersports sales, inventory, marketing, service, and performance. The ideal candidate must have substantial prior experience in the powersports industry, with direct knowledge of dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, and related vehicles. This person must have previously managed a powersports dealership and understand how to successfully sell, market, price, purchase, service, and manage powersports inventory. Our primary new-product brands will include Tao Motor and Denago, along with additional new and used powersports vehicles. Primary Responsibilities Build the company's powersports division from the ground up across all 14 locations. Develop and implement a company-wide powersports sales strategy. Oversee powersports sales performance at every location. Establish sales, pricing standards, lead-management procedures. Train and support store managers and sales employees on powersports products and sales techniques. Determine which products should be offered at each location based on local demand. Oversee the purchasing of new and used dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, and related products. Establish the correct inventory mix for each store. Monitor inventory aging, pricing, margins, discounts, and product turnover. Approve or provide guidance regarding trades and used-unit purchases. Work with the company's existing marketing team to create advertising campaigns, promotions, events, digital listings. Provide technical oversight to ensure technicians follow appropriate repair, inspection, and service standards. Oversee warranty procedures, parts operations, repair profitability, and service-related customer issues. Required Experience Minimum of three years of professional powersports industry experience. Strong preference for candidates with 5 or more years of powersports experience. Prior experience managing a powersports dealership is required. Demonstrated experience selling dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, or similar vehicles. Strong understanding of powersports market demand, customer buying behavior, seasonality, and regional product preferences. Familiarity with both new and used powersports inventory. Working technical knowledge of powersports repairs, parts, warranties, inspections, and service operations. Experience managing inventory levels, aging inventory, margins, trades, and purchasing decisions. Experience working with marketing teams to generate leads and increase dealership sales. Minimal travel is expected, although occasional travel may be required. In Person Location.
