Job Description
Holmen Holmen's extensive forest holdings are the foundation of our business. Your next workplace We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager within our Pharma/Health Packaging Segment based in the USA that can show both new and existing customers the value of our products and services in the USA and Canada region. You are part of our Sales Americas team, consisting of 8 people. The position will involve local and occasional international travel. Our North America office is located in Lyndhurst, NJ, just outside of New York City. Your position could be home office based depending on region. Your future challenge Your task will also be to seek out new customer relationships and new business opportunities within the Pharma packaging segment. More than half your time will be spent travelling and visiting customers within the USA and Canada. You will additionally manage, maintain and develop volume and revenue for a defined set of appointed accounts and customer portfolios. Your responsibilities are (but not limited to):
- Identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities
- Defining and carrying out specific offers to each customer based on the Sales Plan.
- Gathering and analyzing market and competitor information.
- Maintaining and developing customer relationships of existing customers.
- Negotiating and closing deals
- Staying updated on industry trends
- Collaboration with other departments
- Invoice forecasting for the assigned customer group.
- Identifying, proposing and implementing local marketing activities.
- Coordinating all activities between the customer and the company, including visits to our mills.
- Representing Holmen Board and Paper at exhibitions and fairs.
- Are persistent and have a strong drive to track down and close deals.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field or the equivalent in relevant work experience.
- Are proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
