The Business Development Manager in the Corporate Sales Energy (CSE) sector plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. This position is responsible for developing and nurturing strategic partnerships that align with the organization's long-term objectives. The role demands a deep understanding of the energy market and the ability to manage key accounts to maximize sales revenue. The successful candidate will lead efforts to expand the sales territory through both inside sales and field engagement, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets. Ultimately, this role is critical in shaping the company's market presence and sustaining competitive advantage through strategic sales initiatives. (Bismarck, ND; Rapid City, SD; Billings, MT; Williston, ND)Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Energy Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the energy industry. Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales revenue targets. Strong understanding of strategic sales processes and sales territory management. Excellent communication and relationship development skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline. Experience working with strategic partnerships in the energy sector. Familiarity with inside sales methodologies and CRM software. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex sales cycles. Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the energy industry. Background in engineering, construction management, project management, and/or sales.Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the energy sector to expand the company's market share. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners to foster long-term collaboration. Collaborate with the sales organization to design and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the energy market. Manage and grow sales territory by coordinating inside sales efforts and field activities to meet or exceed revenue goals. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and optimize sales performance.Skills:
