Remote The Impact You'll Make As a Channel Sales Manager , you will play a critical role in expanding the reach of Danfoss Drives across North America—one of our most dynamic, high‑growth regions. You'll help our industrial distribution partners succeed by strengthening their technical, commercial, and operational capabilities, ensuring they deliver world‑class solutions to end users, OEMs, and system integrators. You will serve as a trusted advisor to partners, empowering them with training, insights, and strategic business planning. By building strong relationships and creating predictable, scalable growth, you will directly influence Danfoss' success in the industrial drives market. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact—shaping channel strategy, driving new opportunities, and ensuring our partners represent the full value of Danfoss technology throughout the industrial ecosystem. What You'll Be Doing Develop strong relationships with partner leadership, sales teams, technical specialists, and inside sales to enable sustainable growth and long-term success. Train and onboard partners, lead technical presentations, coordinate events, and ensure partners can confidently promote the Danfoss Drives value proposition . Build and maintain strategic business plans with each partner, including growth initiatives, capability development, and annual sales targets. Manage partner opportunity pipelines in Salesforce and support joint pursuits with end users, OEMs, engineering firms, and system integrators. Monitor channel coverage, evaluate partner performance, and provide recommendations on optimization, compliance, and program enhancements. Align with Sales and other internal stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and develop new accounts that supplement channel sales initiatives. What We're Looking For A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience selling through channel partners in automation or electrical equipment, ideally with Variable Frequency Drives. Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence without direct authority. Experience managing partner pipelines, executing disciplined sales processes, and balancing customer needs with business requirements. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across direct and matrixed teams.
