Compensation:
Uncapped commissions, performance bonuses, and potential renewal commissions Position Overview The Proposed ROK Sports Complex is seeking motivated sales and business-development professionals to help secure corporate sponsorships, strategic partnerships, naming-rights agreements, founding partners, hospitality relationships, and event sponsors. These positions will begin as part-time, commission-based opportunities . Representatives will be paid commissions on qualifying partnership and sponsorship revenue they personally generate and that is collected by the organization. This is not an unpaid volunteer position. Successful representatives will have the opportunity to earn meaningful income through commissions while helping build the corporate partnership division of the ROK Sports Complex. Top-performing representatives may be considered for future full-time sales, account-management, director, or leadership positions as the organization grows. A transition to full-time employment will be based on individual performance, revenue production, professionalism, organizational needs, and available funding. A future full-time position is an opportunity and is not guaranteed. Available Positions Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Revenue Director of Naming Rights and Founding Partnerships Corporate Sponsorship Sales Executive Hospitality and Community Partnerships Executive Sports, Athlete and Brand Partnerships Executive Regional Corporate Partnerships Representative Event Sponsorship Sales Representative What You Will Sell Representatives may be assigned opportunities involving: Corporate sponsorship packages Facility and venue naming rights Court, field, training-center, and event-space naming rights Official industry-category partnerships Tournament and event sponsorships Hospitality and restaurant partnerships Hotel and tourism partnerships Technology and telecommunications partnerships Healthcare and sports-medicine partnerships Automotive, banking, insurance, retail, and professional-service partnerships Athlete, brand, media, and community partnerships Digital signage, podcast, livestream, and content sponsorships Youth scholarships and community-impact programs Responsibilities Identify and qualify prospective sponsors and strategic partners Develop relationships with business owners and corporate decision-makers Conduct outreach through calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals Schedule and participate in partnership presentations Learn the goals and priorities of prospective partners Help develop customized sponsorship proposals Maintain an organized prospect and sales pipeline Follow up consistently with qualified opportunities Coordinate pricing and negotiations with ROK leadership Assist with closing approved sponsorship and partnership agreements Support partner onboarding and relationship management Identify renewal and expansion opportunities within existing accounts Compensation Structure This position is paid through commissions on approved sponsorship and partnership revenue generated by the representative.
Compensation may include:
Up to 15% commission on designated event sponsorships and smaller partnership packages Up to 12% commission on qualifying new corporate sponsorship revenue Up to 10% commission on qualifying hospitality, brand, and multi-year partnerships Approximately 3% to 8% commission on major founding-partner and naming-rights agreements, depending on the size and structure of the transaction Renewal commissions on qualifying accounts personally originated and maintained Performance bonuses for reaching quarterly or annual revenue milestones Leadership overrides for approved representatives who recruit or manage a sales team Commissions are generally calculated on qualifying cash revenue collected by the organization, not merely on proposals presented or contracts signed. Commission percentages may vary based on: Total agreement value Length of the agreement Payment schedule Type of sponsorship or partnership Lead source Level of representative involvement Number of representatives involved Discounting or special contract terms Renewal and account-management responsibilities Final commission terms will be outlined in a written independent contractor and commission agreement. Pathway to Full-Time Employment These roles are intended to help identify and develop the future corporate partnerships team for the ROK Sports Complex. Representatives who consistently demonstrate the ability to generate revenue, build strong corporate relationships, manage accounts professionally, and support the organization's growth may be considered for full-time opportunities such as: Corporate Partnerships Manager Director of Corporate Partnerships Director of Sponsorship Sales Director of Hospitality Partnerships Director of Naming Rights Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Vice President of Revenue Partnership Account Executive Partnership Activation Manager Consideration for a full-time position may be based on: Revenue generated and collected Consistency of sales performance Quality of corporate relationships Ability to retain and grow accounts Professionalism and reliability Leadership ability Organizational funding and staffing needs Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate LOVES SPORTS, is self-motivated, competitive, relationship-driven, and comfortable earning compensation based on performance.
Preferred experience includes:
Corporate sponsorship sales Sports marketing Media or advertising sales Business development Naming-rights sales Hospitality or hotel sales Fundraising or capital campaigns Community partnerships Commercial real estate Banking, insurance, healthcare, automotive, technology, or professional services Collegiate or professional athletics Athlete representation or brand development Existing relationships with business owners, executives, community leaders, athletes, agencies, or corporate decision-makers are strongly preferred. Work Schedule and Location Flexible, part-time schedule Remote and field-based work Meetings may take place virtually or in person Representatives should be available for scheduled prospect meetings and team sales meetings Some local networking events, presentations, and partnership activations may be required This opportunity may complement an existing career, consulting practice, agency, or professional network. Representatives are expected to manage their time independently while maintaining consistent activity, communication, and follow-up. About the Proposed ROK Sports Complex The proposed ROK Sports Complex is being developed as a multi-sport, recruiting, entertainment, hospitality, media, and community destination in Oklahoma City. The proposed development is expected to include: Eight basketball courts convertible to as many as 16 volleyball courts A full-size indoor football and soccer turf field Future baseball and softball fields Pickleball programming Cheer and wrestling events Performance training Recruiting showcases and exposure events Youth leagues, camps, clinics, tournaments, and combines Media and podcast production Retail, food, beverage, hospitality, and family entertainment Corporate events and community programming How to Apply Applicants should submit: A current résumé A brief summary of relevant sales or business-development experience Examples of sponsorships, partnerships, or major accounts previously secured Industries and corporate relationships they would be prepared to pursue A brief explanation of why they are interested in helping build the ROK Sports Complex Please note: This position begins as a part-time, commission-based independent contractor opportunity. There is no guaranteed salary during the initial commission-based stage. Representatives can earn uncapped commissions on qualifying collected revenue, with the potential to be considered for full-time employment as the organization and partnership division grow.
