, MB What we offer Company profit sharing plan Generous paid time-off and paid holidays Paid parental leave Employee Resource Groups Personal and professional development program Job Summary The Director of Brand & Business Development is a leadership role responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth through national and regional business development efforts, while strengthening and extending the SERVPRO® brand across the Canadian insurance ecosystem. This role is a growth-focused position centered on insurer relationships, national account development, local marketing efforts to include internet presence, and franchise-aligned execution, with an emphasis on business development, national account growth, lead generation, and the expansion of insurer relationships. The role also carries a critical brand stewardship component, ensuring market credibility, consistency, and insurer trust through effective day-to-day franchise marketing execution, tactical advertising management, and promotional brand initiatives. You will National & Regional Business Development Lead national and regional business development strategy focused on insurance carriers, TPAs, independent adjusters, and brokers. Own the lifecycle of target accounts: identification, relationship development, onboarding, and long-term account success. Assist in developing and executing a national and regional business development strategy aligned to Canadian market conditions and organizational growth objectives. Maintain a high level of knowledge relating to the carrier initiatives and assist in system alignment. KPI Accountability Manage revenue growth targets. Ensure National Account coverage goals are met. Manage lead generation performance metrics. Brand Leadership Act as an ambassador of the SERVPRO® brand within the Canadian insurance industry. Ensure brand positioning supports credibility, trust, and differentiation with national and regional insurance partners. Represent SERVPRO Canada at national and regional industry events, forums, and executive meetings where business development outcomes are the primary objective. Required to assist in building annual and long-term strategic plans. Strategic Account & Relationship Management Conduct structured quarterly and annual business reviews with key accounts to assess performance, growth opportunities, and program alignment. Translate insurer expectations into scalable, franchise-executable programs in collaboration with national leadership. Engage in all Brand Development opportunities to include national sponsorships and trade shows. Ongoing collaboration with all HQ departments to ensure alignment. Responsible for training and development of business development leaders within each franchise office. Franchise Alignment & Enablement Serve as a bridge between national insurer relationships and franchise-level execution. Mentor, coach, and support franchise sales leadership to ensure consistent delivery of all brand development avenues. Assist in facilitating national and regional meetings focused on business development performance, pipeline health, and account strategy. Market Intelligence & Performance Management Gather and synthesize market intelligence from insurers, franchises, and industry trends to inform strategy. Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and account intelligence using Salesforce or equivalent systems. Measure and report business development performance, including revenue growth, account penetration, and program ROI. You have Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively—verbally and in writing—with employees, customers, and suppliers across in-person, phone, and written channels. Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, national accounts, or strategic sales within insurance, restoration, or related service industries. Deep understanding of the Canadian insurance claims environment and restoration economics Demonstrated credibility and effectiveness when working with insurer stakeholders. Experience within franchise, distributed, or multi-unit business models preferred. Proficiency with software commonly used in the insurance and restoration industries. Strong core competencies including strategic selling, commercial negotiation, executive presence, relationship-based influence, data-driven pipeline and performance management, persuasive communication, presentation skills, and a high degree of accountability and execution discipline. Education Bachelor's Degree preferred in Marketing or a related degree. Working Conditions Fast-paced, high pressure office environment. Standard working hours, based on a 40 hour work week. Additional working hours required as needed to complete testing assignments and projects on schedule. 50%+ travel as required for business needs. Work location: Remote - Must reside and be able to work in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, or Newfoundland/Labrador. The actual salary offered will be based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and location, with a compensation range of $152,575.00-198,306.00 CAD.
