Job Description

Director of Campus Operations and Sales Company Overview A dynamic arts organization offering opportunities in visual and performing arts, education, history, community outreach, and personal enrichment. It serves as a creative hub for artists and the local community, presenting exhibitions, performances, and classes that inspire connection and innovation. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Lorton, VA, with opportunities to work remotely on occasion. The Director of Campus Operations and Sales will oversee daily operations, coordinate events, manage campus facilities, and lead revenue-generating initiatives. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring operational efficiency, developing sales strategies, fostering community partnerships, and collaborating with stakeholders to expand the organization's reach and impact.
Qualifications Leadership & Team Management:
Experience managing operations, supervising teams, and overseeing budgets.
Sales & Relationship Building:
Proven ability to drive sales, build partnerships, and maintain strong community relationships.
Operations & Facilities Management:
Knowledge of property/facility management, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Event & Program Coordination:
Experience planning, organizing, and executing events and programs.
Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving:
Ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Arts Management, or a related field, with relevant leadership experience. Experience within arts and cultural organizations is a plus.
Technology Skills:
Familiarity with event management systems, operations tracking tools, and communication platforms preferred.
Adaptability:
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with on-site responsibilities in Lorton, VA.
Venue Operations & Sales Management:
Demonstrated experience in venue management, outbound sales, pipeline development and conversion, revenue growth initiatives, personnel management and development, and budget oversight. center "> Director Of Operations And Sales
