Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Sales Manager to lead the planning, promotion, and execution of exceptional events that leave lasting impressions. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract new clients and expand existing accounts within the event industry. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes while maximizing revenue. Coordinate with marketing teams to create compelling event marketing campaigns that showcase our venue's unique features. Plan and oversee all aspects of event management, including venue setup, catering arrangements, décor, entertainment, and guest services. Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. Manage budgets effectively for each event, ensuring cost control while maintaining high-quality standards. Upsell additional services such as premium packages, catering options, or special amenities to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue. Collaborate with vendors, caterers, banquet staff, and hotel or restaurant partners to ensure seamless event execution. Maintain detailed records of contracts, client communications, and event logistics to ensure smooth operations. Stay informed about industry trends in event marketing, hospitality, and venue management to continuously improve offerings. Qualifications Proven experience in sales or event management within hospitality venues such as hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while fostering positive client relationships. Excellent marketing acumen with knowledge of event promotion strategies and upselling techniques. Solid background in event planning and coordination from concept through execution. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality standards. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience managing budgets and contracts related to events or catering services. Familiarity with banquet operations, catering logistics, and hotel or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
