Job Description

Lapauw USA LLC, the North American arm of Lapauw International, is a leading provider of commercial flatwork finishing equipment for the laundry and textile care industry. We are seeking an experienced Finance & New Business Development Manager to lead financial operations, drive strategic growth initiatives, and expand our commercial footprint across North America. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with senior leadership, manage high-impact compliance and trade initiatives, and directly influence the company's business development strategy. It is imperative that the individual is resourceful and can work independently without supervision.
Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounts receivable and payable operations, ensuring accurate, timely processing and reconciliation Own P&L reporting, cost tracking, and margin analysis for a multimillion-dollar business unit, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership Lead financial forecasting and risk tracking to support informed strategic decision-making Drive compliance reviews across financial operations, proactively identifying and resolving regulatory gaps in coordination with management Prepare and coordinate international trade documentation, including tariff recovery efforts, import/export compliance, and customs coordination Build and grow the North American sales pipeline through CRM management, client outreach, and strategic account development Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to expand market share and revenue Coordinate field service, logistics, and vendor relationships to support supply chain and distribution needs Oversee budget planning and vendor coordination for major industry trade shows Support company-wide revisions of terms, conditions, and deal frameworks to strengthen margin performance Contribute to website and marketing initiatives that improve product visibility and lead generation Leverage QuickBooks, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite to maintain accurate financial, operational, and sales reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or business development, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or equipment-focused environment Demonstrated success managing P&L, forecasting, and margin analysis for a sizable business unit Strong working knowledge of AR/AP processes, financial compliance, and risk management Hands-on experience with international trade documentation, import/export compliance, and tariff recovery Proven track record of new business development and pipeline growth Proficiency with QuickBooks and CRM platforms, Salesforce strongly preferred with at least 5 years of experience. Excellent analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills Ability to manage multiple competing priorities independently in a hybrid work environment Experience coordinating trade shows or vendor partnerships a plus
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
