LocationThis position is a remote travel position that must reside within 100 miles of territory (Columbus, OH) Reporting Relationships The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Director of Sales. This role has no direct reports.

The right candidate will need to be a good and genuine person with high Integrity, Trust, Servitude and Discipleship along with excellent business, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills who understands the responsibilities to the families of Millwood. They must also respect what has been accomplished at the Company and can learn and add their own value and knowledge to further develop people strategies to recruit, train, develop and retain World Class Associates for the Strategic Business Unit and assist in its growth plan and in achieving profitability goals and value creation efforts. Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding the market presence within the assigned region. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans that align with the company's overall objectives. Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager will cultivate strong relationships with key distributors and national accounts to enhance collaboration and maximize sales volume. Ultimately, this role is crucial for achieving revenue goals and establishing a competitive edge in the marketplace for unit load products.

Essential duties and responsibilitiesDevelop and achieve annual sales and profitability plansAnalyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growthGenerate new leads and opportunities through cold calling on the phone, through email, and in personUse company-provided prospecting tools and networking to identify and contact decision makers at prospective customersFollow up on leads generated through other Millwood channels (trade shows, website, other RSMs)Develop and present proposals that address each potential customers defined needsNegotiate pricing for all products and services with new and existing direct accountsMaintain and expand revenue and profitability with existing accountsProvide local support for National Account customer locations that are in the territoryProvide sales support for Millwood-owned operations (where applicable)Document all activity in SalesforceRepresent Millwood at Industry Trade Shows, as assignedPerform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to conform and adapt to core values and culture Exceptional verbal communication skills, with a formal and conversational English and bilingual with Spanish a plus.

Succinct and clear written communicational skills in English Detail-orientated Superior organizational skills Ability to maintain a professional demeanor Ability to be a team player Conflict management skills Project management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to work with cross functional departmentsStrong basic math skills
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. (Preferred)Proven experience in regional sales management or a similar role.

Strong understanding of sales territory management and distributor sales.

Proven strong analytic and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to travel within the territory 3-5 days per weekAvailability for overnight travel within your territory and to corporate meetings, events; or as requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and OutlookMust have a valid drivers license and ability to travel by car and plane.

Compensation for this role is base salary plus competitive commissions package.
