Senior Sales Manager -
Advanced Materials & Semiconductor Industry Company:
A Japan-based global manufacturer specializing in proprietary advanced material technologies, providing various functional material solutions to customers across automotive, electronics, industrial, and other manufacturing industries worldwide.

10%-30% domestic and international travel Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive new business development and expand market presence throughout North America. This role is responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and generating revenue through the sale of advanced material solutions across a variety of industrial markets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background within the materials, chemical, semiconductor, or manufacturing industries and be comfortable engaging with both technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead business development initiatives to expand market presence and drive revenue growth throughout North America. Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives. Identify, prospect, and secure new customer relationships and partnership opportunities. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and account growth. Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets. Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, operational, and management teams to support customer acquisition and retention. Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and account information within CRM and reporting systems. Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports to management. Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Perform additional projects and business initiatives as assigned. Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Advanced Materials & Chemicals Functional materials, Chemical materials, Resins, Rubber products, Silicone materials, Adhesives, Thermal Interface , Materials (TIM), Fluoropolymers Manufacturing & Semiconductor Markets Semiconductor manufacturing equipment, Semiconductor manufacturing processes, Semiconductor materials, Industrial manufacturing, Electronic components, Material processing operations Ideal Company Background Experience working for any of the following types of organizations is highly desirable: Material manufacturers, Chemical manufacturers, Component manufacturers, Material processing companies, Specialized material distributors or trading companies Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience 5-10 years of sales, business development, account management, or related experience within manufacturing, engineering, materials, or industrial sectors. Proven success developing new business and managing strategic customer relationships. Experience working with semiconductor equipment manufacturers or semiconductor-related industries is highly preferred. Required Skills Strong business development and sales strategy execution capabilities. Ability to understand technical products and effectively communicate customer requirements. Demonstrated leadership and self-motivation. Excellent prospecting and relationship-building skills. Strong account management and program management abilities. Outstanding negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn and effectively represent highly technical products and solutions. Language Requirements Full professional proficiency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal). Additional Requirements Valid U.S. driver's license. Ability to travel as required. Ideal Candidate We are looking for a results-driven sales professional who combines technical curiosity with strong commercial acumen. Compensation $150,000 base salary + performance-based incentive compensation (target earnings up to $200,000 annually) Additional performance-based incentive compensation available Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement benefits. Employment Terms The position will initially be offered as a one-year fixed-term contract. Employment status will be reviewed after one year.
