CEO Role Overview Crooked Spoon Ice Cream is seeking an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Territory Sales & Marketing Manager to accelerate brand growth and expand market presence throughout the Pacific Northwest, with a primary focus on the Greater Seattle market. This highly visible role reports directly to the CEO and offers the opportunity to shape the future of one of the fastest-growing premium ice cream brands in the region. The ideal candidate combines strategic marketing expertise with a strong sales mindset and a passion for building relationships. You will be equally comfortable developing brand strategy, securing new accounts, managing retailer relationships, and ensuring flawless in-store execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced growth environment and enjoys turning great brands into household names. What Success Looks Like Increase brand positioning, awareness, and equity via execution in market and on shelves. Partner with our accounts and distributor partners and our in house DSD to grow existing accounts and activate new one. Find new and interesting outlets for brand building activites, farmers markets, pop up events, customer events, trade shows and more. Develop collaborative trade plans that lead to stronger retailer partnerships and increased share of category. Ensure the Crooked Spoon brand vision turns into solid execution, on the shelf, in store, and in the market. What You'll Do Sales & Business Development Develop and manage in store relationships with key regional retail accounts, including PCC, Metropolitan Market, Haggen, Town & Country Markets, NW Grocers, Safeway/Albertsons, and other natural and specialty grocers. Identify and secure new business opportunities across retail, food service, hospitality, and specialty channels, including restaurants, hotels, casinos, stadiums, golf courses, catering companies, and institutional accounts. Build strong partnerships with distributors including UNFI, KeHE, and DSD operators to drive sales growth and market penetration. Create and execute territory-specific sales plans with defined objectives for distribution gains, sales velocity, and account development. Own monthly sales forecasting and maintain accountability for achieving revenue targets. Marketing & Brand Development Collaborate with leadership to develop annual marketing strategies, and budgets. Plan and execute experiential marketing programs, including product demonstrations, trade shows, Costco roadshows, consumer events, and community activations. Maintain an annual events and promotional calendar aligned with sales objectives and retail priorities. Retail Execution & Field Leadership Conduct regular market visits to strengthen retailer relationships, evaluate shelf execution, and identify opportunities for improved merchandising and promotional support. Monitor in-store conditions, competitive activity, pricing, and product performance. Partner with brokers, distributors, and retail teams to ensure flawless execution of promotional programs and product launches. Serve as the voice of the market by sharing customer and consumer insights with company leadership. What We're Looking For Required Experience Minimum of 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry. Experience with distributor, broker, and retail partnerships across multiple sales channels Demonstrated success working with food, beverage, frozen, refrigerated, specialty, or natural products. Established relationships with key Pacific Northwest retail buyers and category managers preferred. Skills & Competencies Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills. Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on execution mindset. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. Experience within a startup or high-growth company environment is a plus. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to travel approximately 25-40% throughout the territory. Multilingual capabilities are a plus. Demonstrated success working with food, beverage, frozen, refrigerated, specialty, or natural products. Established relationships with key Pacific Northwest retail buyers and category managers preferred. Experience with distributor, broker, and retail partnerships across multiple sales channels. Proven track record of delivering measurable sales growth and market expansion.
