Job Description

Join Our Team as an Operations & Sales Manager at 855 RI Lawns We are looking for a high-level leader to run day-to-day field operations, drive sales growth, manage people, and improve profitability. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can lead crews, close work, solve problems fast, and hold standards. Since 2001, we've built strong systems, technology, automation, and processes that remove chaos and allow management to focus on growth and execution.
Qualifications:
5+ years landscape management experience Proven leadership experience managing crews and supervisors Sales experience in estimates, upselling, and closing work Strong organizational and time management skills Positive attitude Clean background check Reliable transportation Live within 30 minutes of shop preferred Able to lift 50 lbs Basic mechanical ability Strong computer skills Able to make quick, smart decisions Self-motivated without micromanagement Landscape software experience a plus Attention to detail ("I pay attention to detail" on resume)
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Seasonal on-call responsibilities Occasional Saturdays during peak season
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee daily production schedule and field execution Ensure jobs are completed on budget, on time, and to company standards Manage foremen, crews, subcontractors, and support staff Handle equipment readiness, repairs, and inventory Enforce company policies and accountability Improve efficiency, routing, and labor performance Conduct training, reviews, and hiring support
Sales Responsibilities:
Meet with leads and provide estimates Follow up on pending proposals and close sales Identify upsell opportunities with existing clients Build recurring maintenance accounts and project work Track sales pipeline and hit monthly revenue goals Assist marketing team with promotions and offers Maintain strong customer relationships to generate referrals and reviews
Customer Service:
Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally Perform quality control visits and property inspections Ensure high retention and client satisfaction Why Join Us? $80,000-$100,000 base salary based on experience
Transparent Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
