About the role Job Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, setting sales goals, and ensuring the team meets performance targets. This role supports the execution of sales strategies and provides coaching and development to team members. This job profile is intended for People Managers of 4+ experienced to senior expert-level employees. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support the sales team in achieving targets. Set sales goals and monitor performance metrics. Train and mentor sales representatives. Develop and implement sales plans and strategies. Handle key customer accounts and resolve escalations. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams. Report sales performance to senior leadership. Skills & Qualifications Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and 9+ years of relevant work experienceare minimally required to be able to manage and coordinate one or more expert-level teams. Experience in sales team management. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools. Ability to analyze data and drive performance.
