Sales Manager - Commercial Truck & Equipment Southeastern South Dakota | Multi-State Territory Are you a proven sales leader who knows how to develop people, build customer relationships, and drive profitable growth ? A long-established organization in the commercial truck and equipment industry is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead an established sales team and help drive continued growth throughout a multi-state territory. This position is available because the current Sales Manager is retiring after 15 years with the organization . That means the next leader won't be starting from scratch—you'll inherit an experienced team, established customer relationships, and a strong foundation for continued growth. What You'll Do You'll lead a team of sales professionals covering portions of South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota , with responsibilities including: Lead, coach, and develop an established sales team Set goals and create accountability around sales performance Develop strategies to increase revenue and market penetration Manage sales forecasting and monthly budgets Monitor margins, expenses, and overall profitability Strengthen existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities Partner with branch and senior leadership on sales strategy Help sales representatives achieve their individual and team goals What We're Looking For We're looking for a sales leader who understands how to coach a team while still keeping an eye on the numbers and overall business performance . Ideal qualifications include 3+ years of sales management experience , along with a proven background in coaching and developing sales professionals, forecasting, budgeting, profitability, and business development. Experience in the heavy-duty truck or commercial vehicle industry is preferred , although strong sales leaders from heavy equipment, agriculture, or automotive backgrounds will also be considered.
