Job Description

Turn Connections Into Revenue in the Heart of Cool Springs Ready to sell more than rooms? Join a high-energy hotel team where every conversation can become a new partnership, every client visit can open a door, and every win helps shape the success of a standout SpringHill Suites in one of Middle Tennessee's most dynamic business communities. Located in Franklin's thriving Cool Springs corridor—minutes from corporate offices, shopping, dining, historic downtown Franklin, and Nashville's unmistakable energy—this is an opportunity to build relationships in a market with momentum. We're looking for a driven, polished, people-loving sales professional who knows how to create demand, win business, and keep clients coming back. What You'll Bring To The Table You'll be the hotel's chief relationship builder, market champion, and revenue generator. From face-to-face appointments and proactive prospecting to community networking and strategic account development, you'll bring the SpringHill Suites experience to life for local companies, travelers, groups, and top-producing accounts. Drive top-line revenue and meet or exceed budgeted sales goals. Grow the hotel's STAR market share through smart, focused, competitive selling. Build and nurture a strong pipeline through outside sales calls, in-person appointments, tele-prospecting, networking, and follow-up. Identify, qualify, and secure new corporate, group, and local business opportunities. Plan and execute sales blitzes that put the hotel in front of the right customers at the right time. Use available sales tools, market intelligence, and reporting to uncover opportunities and create action plans. Evaluate potential business and present recommendations to the General Manager, Revenue Manager, and regional sales leadership. Develop meaningful relationships with top accounts, turning one-time bookings into long-term loyalty. Stay informed on the competitive set and confidently communicate the value of SpringHill Suites when selling against the competition. Represent the hotel in appropriate community and industry organizations, bringing authentic Franklin hospitality to every interaction. Keep sales reporting, internal communications, account records, and deadlines organized, accurate, and on track. Why This Is More Than A Sales Role Franklin is a place where Southern charm meets serious business growth. Cool Springs is home to major employers, expanding companies, busy travelers, and endless opportunities to make connections that matter. You'll have the autonomy to build your book of business, the support of a hospitality-focused team, and the satisfaction of seeing your strategy make a measurable impact. If you love the thrill of the chase, the satisfaction of a signed account, and the art of turning a "maybe" into a loyal client, you'll feel right at home here. What You'll Need To Succeed Previous hotel sales experience, including outside or direct sales experience. A stable work history and a proven ability to build trust with clients and colleagues. Exceptional organization, account management, and follow-up skills. A competitive, self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Confidence making sales calls, conducting client appointments, and representing the hotel in the community. Fully functional computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A professional presence, sound judgment, and unwavering integrity. Bring Your Drive. Build Your Market. Make Your Mark. This is your chance to combine the excitement of proactive sales with the warmth of hospitality in a community people love to visit, work, and call home. Bring your ambition, your network, and your passion for winning—and help create exceptional results in Franklin's vibrant Cool Springs market.
