Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Customer-facing experience running engagements with clients (e.g., consulting, project management, sales, implementation or technical sales). Experience with information technology and computer systems that support enterprise goals (including exposure to Cloud technologies and machine learning).
Preferred qualifications:
MBA degree. 10 years of executive leadership experience. Experience operating in a global role/on a global scale. Digital transformation experience within a major oil and gas or comparable organization. Deep knowledge of industrial (OT) systems and processes. Demonstrated innovation credentials and thought-leadership for transformational issues within the oil and gas industry. About the job As the Market Lead, Oil and Gas will coordinate a cross-functional global team to meet and exceed challenging growth targets. Displaying a "customer first" orientation, you will bring to bear a strong operational approach and define Google Cloud's industry product and solution strategy in close collaboration with its customers. In this role, you will leverage your industry domain knowledge to analyze industry trends and inform product roadmaps. You'll design go-to-market and coordinate for emerging solutions and first-of-kind agreements, engage with key industry customers to provide unique domain expertise and to co-design products/solutions, and manage iterative product development processes necessary for new-to-world AI-based solutions. In addition, you will partner with other functional teams across Product, Legal, Compliance and Enablement to ensure excellent execution and success of the alliances. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$378,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Own the oil and gas industry strategy and solution offering. Understand customer demand and work with our product teams to develop industry solutions. Define, review and agree to a clear set of priorities, joint initiatives and roadmap. Coordinate with the cross-functional industry team. Provide global thought leadership demonstrated in events and publications. Build and foster relationships with Google leaders across the organization.
