Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager - Industrial Reliability Monitoring Solutions to identify and develop new business opportunities for advanced online condition monitoring solutions used in industrial reliability and predictive maintenance environments. This role is focused on helping industrial customers improve asset reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and make better maintenance decisions through monitoring technologies, sensor-based data collection, analytics, and machine-health insights.

The ideal candidate will bring strong business development or technical sales experience within rotating equipment monitoring, online condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, industrial reliability, or related asset health solutions. This is not a generic industrial sales role. The successful candidate must be able to speak credibly with maintenance, reliability, engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders about how monitoring solutions support critical equipment health and plant uptime.
What you will be doing:
Identify and develop new business opportunities for industrial reliability monitoring solutions Build relationships with prospective customers, partners, industry influencers, and key decision-makers Understand customer reliability challenges and recommend tailored monitoring solutions Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders Develop and execute business development strategies to grow revenue and expand market presence Monitor emerging technologies, competitor activity, and market trends in industrial equipment monitoring Track pipeline activity, forecast sales, and report performance metrics Partner with product management, marketing, and sales teams to support go-to-market activity Help develop sales tools, target customer lists, and market-facing resources Attend technical conferences and industry events for networking, lead generation, and market visibility Travel as needed for customer meetings and industry engagement What you must have: 5+ years of business development, sales, or end-user experience in one or more of the following areas: Industrial equipment monitoring Rotating machinery monitoring Online condition monitoring technologies Predictive maintenance Industrial reliability or asset performance solutions Strong understanding of rotating machines and connected mechanical equipment Experience with or exposure to equipment such as motors, pumps, compressors, fans, gearboxes, generators, turbines, or similar industrial assets Knowledge of sensor integration, asset health analytics, and condition monitoring solutions Exposure to vibration analysis and how vibration monitoring fits into reliability programs Familiarity with heavy and/or light industrial maintenance environments Demonstrated success generating new business and closing technical sales in complex environments Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to maintenance, reliability, operations, and executive stakeholders Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills Ability to work collaboratively with technical, product, marketing, and commercial teams Willingness to travel as required Nice to have: Experience selling predictive maintenance platforms, industrial sensors, reliability software, vibration monitoring solutions, or machine-health analytics Background working with plant reliability, maintenance engineering, or industrial asset performance teams Experience selling into manufacturing, utilities, energy, heavy industry, processing, or other equipment-intensive industrial environments Vibration certification is helpful but not required

The right person will be able to identify opportunities, build trust with technical buyers, and position monitoring solutions as a way to reduce risk, improve uptime, and support smarter maintenance decisions.
Salary/Rate Range:
