Full Job Description Description:
Oversee catering sales, banquet operations, and event planning while ensuring client satisfaction and revenue growth. Manage and grow catering sales by building strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, and local organizations. Perform weekly prospecting and outside sales calls to acquire new business and continue to build client base. Complete weekly sales recap documentation and Delphi activity reports. Plan and execute successful events, from corporate meetings to social gatherings, ensuring seamless service. Work closely with the banquet team to ensure flawless event execution and high guest satisfaction. Utilize Delphi for event planning and BEO (Banquet Event Order) management. Use Stay PMS for room block management and coordinating group reservations. Prepare and manage catering contracts, proposals, and invoices. Collaborate with the kitchen and banquet staff to customize menus and service plans. Monitor event logistics, including setup, service, and breakdown. Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards, health regulations, and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in catering sales, banquet management, or event planning (preferably in a Marriott property). Proficiency in Delphi, Fosse, and banquet operations is highly preferred. Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple events efficiently. Knowledge of hotel sales and catering revenue strategies. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
