This role is focused on identifying, pursuing, and securing new dedicated transportation opportunities while building long-term customer relationships. The Outside Sales Representative serves as a transportation solutions expert, partnering with prospective customers to understand their supply chain challenges and develop customized dedicated fleet solutions that improve efficiency, service, and cost performance.

•Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identify, target, and secure new Dedicated Transportation business opportunities within assigned markets and industries. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives. Generate qualified leads through cold calling, prospecting, networking, referrals, market research, and industry events. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through consistent sales activity and relationship development. Conduct customer assessments to identify transportation, fleet, and supply chain challenges and develop customized dedicated transportation solutions. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and business reviews to key decision-makers. Lead contract negotiations and facilitate successful implementation of new customer accounts. Collaborate with operations, engineering, pricing, and customer service teams to design and deliver tailored transportation solutions. Establish and maintain strong relationships with logistics, transportation, procurement, operations, and executive-level stakeholders. Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, industry trends, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, opportunities, forecasts, and account information within CRM systems. Represent the company at trade shows, industry associations, customer meetings, and networking events. Prepare reports and provide updates to leadership on pipeline activity, account development, sales performance, and market intelligence. Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, contractual obligations, and operating procedures. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered. 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in transportation, logistics, or a related industry preferred. Experience selling dedicated transportation solutions, brokerage or transportation management solutions preferred. Ability to travel up to 50% overnight and locally. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to understand customer business needs and design tailored solutions. Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
