Key Responsibilities As the Sales Manager, you will oversee the daily activities of the inside sales team, developing strategies to ensure both team and individual targets are met.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead, motivate, and mentor the inside sales team to maximize performance, identify training gaps, and implement targeted development plans.
Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to consistently meet or exceed assigned organizational revenue targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Sales Cycle Management:
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through closing, ensuring maximum efficiency and exceptional customer service.
Forecasting & Reporting:
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide detailed performance reports and actionable insights to senior executive leadership.
Market Expansion:
Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new B2B opportunities.
Team Operations & HR:
Execute departmental processes and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, including managing performance evaluations, ongoing coaching, and team development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with the marketing department to create impactful promotional materials and aligned growth strategies.
Job Requirements Experience:
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role, within the construction, fencing, or building products industry.
Inside Sales Background:
1-3 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer success (B2B sales or business development experience is highly preferred).
Team Building:
Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and structuring inside sales teams in high-growth or startup environments.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong skills in using CRM and reporting technology to manage customers and sales pipelines ( Salesforce preferred ).
Leadership Style:
