This position will manage Sales for 2 hotels while working remotely from the Lodging Host Corporate office. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask, possess basic math skills including problem solving, have great organizational and time management skills, an outgoing personality, and the desire to advance within the company. Should be able to work well with little to no supervision but also have the ability to work well within a team setting. The employee will need experience in customer service, data entry, filing, general office duties and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Special consideration will be given to candidates with past hotel experience.
Job Duties:
Plan, organize, and execute sales programs at the direction of the General Managers and Corporate Director of Marketing. Work with General Managers and Corporate Director of Marketing on yearly Marketing Plans. Know competition for multiple regions. Keep daily sales calls database updated. Obtain information on prospective accounts. Use available sales tools and tailor sales materials to needs. Follow-up on leads for individual and group business. Create proposals and contracts for new accounts and groups. Work closely with the General Managers to monitor Special Event Dates, room allocations, and seasonal demand to maximize room revenues. Coordinate gifts for groups, VIP clients and guests. Attend Training Seminars and Out of Town Sales Meetings.

Working Conditions:
May occasionally be required to travel to local hotel to greet VIP clients Must be self-motivated and able to manage their time effectively. Position will require occasional out of town travel. Reimbursed for mileage and expenses through payroll. All employees are required to submit to drug test and background check before they are invited to join our team. Must have valid driver's license Must have a suitable vehicle
Education:
High School Diploma Required College Degree in Sales or Hospitality are preferred but not required
