Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to represent Cole Distributing in leading and growing sales within the East Texas market. This role is responsible for developing customer relationships, expanding fuel volume, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities within the wholesale petroleum and convenience store markets.

The Area Sales Manager will represent Cole Distributing with professionalism and drive sales growth through strategic planning, relationship management, and execution in the field. This position requires extensive travel and time spent visiting customer locations throughout the territory. Compensation and Benefits

  • Manage and grow sales within an assigned geographic territory
  • Develop new wholesale fuel accounts and strengthen existing customer relationships
  • Conduct in-person sales visits with convenience stores, truck stops, fuel retailers, and commercial customers
  • Negotiate fuel supply agreements, pricing programs, and branded opportunities
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for branded and unbranded fuel growth
  • Analyze market trends, fuel pricing, and competitor activity to drive strategic sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with operations, supply, and logistics teams to ensure timely and effective customer service
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory activity updates
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed
  • Maintain consistent communication with leadership regarding territory performance and growth opportunities
  • Maintain accounts in Salesforce Work Environment
  • This position operates primarily in the field and includes travel to customer locations, fuel terminals, convenience stores, truck stops, and company offices.
  • The employee may be exposed to varying weather conditions and outdoor environments during site visits.
