Job Description

A prominent automotive dealership group in the Georgetown, TX area is seeking a New Car Sales Manager to lead a high-volume new vehicle department. The right candidate is not just a desk manager. We are looking for someone who is analytical, results-driven, process-minded, and strong on the floor . This person must be able to lead salespeople, close customers, understand the numbers, and build a department that performs consistently. Key Responsibilities Lead the new car sales department with a strong focus on volume, gross, closing percentage, and customer experience Train, coach, and develop sales consultants on product knowledge, follow-up, objection handling, and closing Work directly with customers to help close deals and create a professional buying experience Analyze sales performance, lead activity, inventory movement, pricing, and market trends Help manage new vehicle inventory strategy, aged units, and model mix Maintain strong working knowledge of CDJR products , including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and Wagoneer Understand competitive makes and models to help position CDJR vehicles effectively against other brands Hold the team accountable to daily activity, CRM usage, follow-up, appointments, shows, and sold units Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to execute sales goals and store objectives Create a competitive, professional, and results-focused sales culture Ensure compliance with dealership policies, sales processes, and customer satisfaction standards Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a proven automotive sales leader who can combine data, discipline, and closing ability . You should be able to look at the numbers, identify the problem, coach the team, and get involved personally when needed to help close the deal. We are looking for someone who is: Analytical — understands reports, trends, lead performance, inventory data, and sales metrics A strong closer — confident working deals and helping customers move forward A strong trainer — able to develop salespeople and raise the standard of the department Product-focused — highly knowledgeable on CDJR vehicles and able to compare against all makes and models A leader — able to command respect, hold accountability, and set the tone daily Results-driven — focused on volume, gross, customer experience, and long-term department growth Process-oriented — understands CRM discipline, follow-up, appointments, and showroom structure Requirements Automotive sales management experience preferred Strong understanding of dealership sales process, desking, closing, and CRM usage CDJR experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate Strong product knowledge across domestic and import brands Ability to train and motivate a sales team Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to analyze performance reports and take action based on the data Professional appearance and customer-first mindset Valid driver's license required Compensation Expected total compensation: $100,000-$160,000 per year , based on experience, performance, commission, and bonus opportunity.
