Job Description This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence within the industrial water treatment sector. The ideal candidate will leverage deep industry knowledge, strong consultative selling skills, and technical expertise to develop strategic business opportunities and build lasting customer relationships. This person will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, manage distribution networks, identify new channels to market, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful project execution. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in shaping business development strategies, expanding market share, and delivering innovative water treatment solutions to industrial customers while consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth within the industrial water treatment market
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on water treatment technologies and solutions
  • Manage existing distribution partners and establish new channels to market
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends and competitor activities
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and customer events
  • Track sales and marketing strategy performance and adjust tactics as needed
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations, proposals, and solution recommendations
  • Negotiate contracts and close profitable business opportunities
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to ensure successful project delivery

  • 5+ years of sales and/or business development experience
  • 3+ years of water treatment sales experience in landfill, mining, refining, petrochemical, textile, or oil & gas industries
  • Strong lead generation, cold calling, and appointment-setting experience
  • Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level customer relationships
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience developing strategic sales plans and executing business growth initiatives
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30-50% as business needs require
  • Must reside within Texas and be located near a major airport
  • Ability to pass a background check and full panel drug test
